Most problems are fixed by one of the steps below. If not, email us at apps@boluga.com.
First things to try
- Restart Snag List. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause to see your open apps, then swipe Snag List up and off the screen. Open it again from your Home Screen.
- Restart your iPhone or iPad. Turning it off and on again often clears a problem.
- Update Snag List from the App Store, and make sure your device is up to date.
The camera won't open
If you see "Camera access denied", Snag List isn't allowed to use the camera. Open the Settings app, tap Privacy & Security, then Camera, and turn on Snag List. You can still add photos from your library with Choose photo in the meantime.
Exporting fails
"Error exporting: Failed while exporting images" usually means your device is almost full. Free up some space (Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage) and try again.
If a .snag import fails with "Zip error", the file may be incomplete. Ask for it to be sent again, or export it again from the original device.
Reports are slow or very large
- Large projects take longer to turn into a report. We recommend fewer than 100 issues per project. For a big site, use several projects grouped with a tag.
- To make the PDF smaller, lower PDF image quality in Settings, or choose a smaller Photos size in Theme Options.
My purchase isn't showing
Open the subscription panel and tap Restore. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you bought with. See Restore a purchase.
A setting won't save
Text settings can't be left blank. If you clear one, Snag List keeps the old value. Type the new text instead.
Please don't delete the app
Deleting Snag List deletes all the projects stored in it, and they can't be recovered. Please don't delete or reinstall the app to fix a problem. Email us first at apps@boluga.com, and we'll help you sort it out without losing your work.
