Condition features

The walk

Templates for residential inventories, commercial schedules of condition, interim inspections and party-wall surveys, each with its own vocabulary and grading scale.

The comparison

A check-out walks the check-in in its order. Nothing changed? One tap carries the grades forward. Changed? Pick a grade and the change is worked out, with then-and-now photographs.

Evidence

Capture times from the camera's metadata in every caption, a locked record once it is signed, and a SHA-256 hash on the cover.

Signatures

Counterparties sign on your device or from a link, with no app or account on their side.

For inventory clerks, surveyors, letting agents and landlords. On iPhone, iPad and Android.

FAQ

Condition questions

Do I need an account?

No. Recording, comparing, signing on the device and exporting (with Pro) all work without one. An account is only needed for cloud sync, sharing with inspectors and reviewers, teams and remote signing links.

How does a check-out compare against the check-in?

On the property screen choose New visit, then the comparison option. The app walks the earlier record in its order. For an element with nothing changed, tap No change: the earlier grades carry forward and the next element opens. For a changed one, pick a grade and the change (wear, damage, improved) is worked out, or choose Missing. The report prints then-and-now photographs with both capture times.

What is the hash on the report cover?

A SHA-256 of the report body. Anyone holding a copy can recompute it (the signing-link page has a Check a PDF tool) and compare it with the cover; a changed copy no longer matches.

How do remote signatures work?

From the visit's Signatures screen, create a signing link for the counterparty and send it however you like. They open a web page, read the report and sign; the visit then locks on your device and their signature prints in the report. Links expire (14 days by default) and can be revoked.
