Clock Card features

Every real shift

Clock in and out with one tap, or add a past shift in seconds. Breaks, paid or unpaid. Overnight shifts that cross midnight. Split shifts and double shifts on the same day. Notes on any shift.

Pay that adds up

An hourly rate with a history, so a raise does not rewrite old weeks. Daily and weekly overtime thresholds, weekend and weekday rates, custom multipliers. The highest rate wins per minute and no minute is ever paid twice.

Timesheets your employer can check

A pay period view with hours, overtime and pay, weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly or monthly. CSV for spreadsheets, and a PDF timesheet to send to your manager or client.

Never lose your hours

Everything is stored on your phone and works offline. An optional backup brings your hours back on a new phone. Reminders to clock in on the days you work, and a nudge if you forget to clock out.

For bar and restaurant staff, retail, warehouse, care workers, cleaners, contractors, nurses, drivers and anyone who keeps their own record of hours and pay. On iPhone and Android.

FAQ

Clock Card questions

Is Clock Card free?

Yes. One job, unlimited shifts, breaks, edit and delete, one weekly overtime rule, CSV export and backup are free for as long as you like, with no ads and no trial that expires. Pro adds more jobs, every overtime rule, PDF timesheets and sync across devices, as a yearly or monthly subscription or a one-off lifetime purchase. Nothing in the free tier is ever taken away.

Do I need an account?

No. Clocking in and out, breaks, pay totals, timesheets and CSV export all work without one. An account is only needed for backup, so your hours come back on a new phone, and for syncing between devices with Pro.

How is overtime worked out?

By your rules, not ours. In the job's settings you set a daily threshold, a weekly threshold, and rates for particular days of the week. Where more than one rule applies to a minute, the highest rate wins, and no minute is ever paid twice. The free tier includes one weekly rule at time-and-a-half; Pro unlocks the rest.

Why does my total not match my payslip?

Clock Card pays each shift from your rate on that date, rounds each shift once to the penny or cent, and adds the rounded shifts up, so the list always matches its total. Check the job's rate history, the pay period start day, and whether a break is marked paid. If it still differs, email us the CSV export and the payslip figure and we will work it through with you.

What about shifts that cross midnight, or two shifts in one day?

Both are fine. An overnight shift is one shift that ends the next day; a split shift is two shifts on the same day. Each is paid from the rules of the day it starts.
