Add a floor plan or site map to a project, then pin each issue to the spot where it is. Your report gets a map page with numbered pins, so anyone can find every issue on site.
Add a map to a project
- Save your plan or map as an image in your Photos library. A screenshot or a photo of a paper plan works fine.
- Open the project and tap the gear icon to open its details.
- Scroll down to Map and tap Choose map.
- Select the image.
To take the map off, tap Remove map.
Set an issue's location
- Open the issue and scroll down to Map location.
- Tap Set location.
- Move and zoom the map until the issue's spot is under the pin in the middle. Drag to move, and pinch to zoom in up to 10 times.
- Go back. The location saves automatically.
To change it later, tap Update location. To clear it, tap Remove location.
Can't see Map location? It only appears once the project has a map. Add one first, as described above.
Maps in your report
- When the project has a map, the report includes a map page with a numbered pin for each issue that has a location. Each pin's number matches the issue's number.
- With the Superlight with Locations theme, each issue also gets its own mini-map showing where it is.
Tip: the mini-map uses the zoom you chose when you set the location. Zoom in further for a closer view of each spot, or zoom out to show more of the surrounding area.
