Condition works without an account. Recording, comparing, signing on the device and, with Pro, exporting all happen on your device, and nothing leaves it. An account adds cloud sync between devices, sharing a property with colleagues, teams and remote signing links.
Create an account or sign in
- On the property list, tap the account icon at the top, Account & sync.
- Enter your email and a password, then tap Create account, or Sign in if you already have one.
- For a new account, open the confirmation email on this device and tap its link, then come back to the app.
Properties already on the device stay on it and start syncing once you are signed in on Pro. Signing out leaves them on the device.
Cloud sync
With an account and Pro, every property you own syncs to your account and to any other device you sign in on, including the photographs. Syncing happens in the background whenever you have a connection; the account screen says "All changes synced" or lets you tap Sync now. Everything still works offline, and changes made without signal are sent when it returns.
A signed-in Free account receives properties shared with it but does not upload its own.
Backups
Sync is a convenience, not an archive, and neither it nor an export is a safe place to keep the only copy of your records. For a copy you control:
- Tap the settings icon on the property list.
- Under Backup, tap Back up… and choose where to save the file. It holds every property, visit and photograph on the device.
- To bring one back, on the same screen tap Restore from a backup… and pick the file. Its records are added to the device; nothing already there is deleted.
Also save photos to the camera roll, on the same screen, keeps a copy of each photograph in your device's photo library as you take it.
Share a property
Sharing lets a colleague see one property and, depending on their role, record visits in it. It needs a Team plan, because each person you share with takes a seat.
- Open the property and choose Sharing….
- Tap Invite to property, enter their name and email, and choose a Role: Inspector can record and complete visits, invite counterparties and export; Reviewer can read and export but not change anything.
- They get access when they sign in with that email. To take it away, open the same screen and choose Remove access; nothing they recorded is deleted.
Counterparties who sign through a link never take a seat.
Teams
A Team plan buys seats for your people. A seat gives someone Pro, and a property shared with them draws on the same seats.
- On the account screen, open Team.
- Tap Invite to team and enter their email. They take a seat when they sign in with it.
- To let them see a property, open that property and share it as above.
Organisations with their own licence join a team by entering the key from Boluga under Have a licence key?.
Plans
- Free: unlimited properties, visits, photographs, comparisons and on-device signatures. Every report as a watermarked preview.
- Pro: export, share and print reports, CSV and Excel, themes, your logo on the cover, cloud sync and remote signing links. £5.99 a month or £39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan.
- Team 5 and Team 15: Pro for you and up to 4 or 14 teammates, with shared properties and roles.
- Organisations of 50 seats or more can licence on invoice: email apps@boluga.com.
To buy, tap Export & share — Pro on a report preview, or Show the plans sheet in Settings. You do not need an account to buy Pro; the purchase applies to the device, and if you later sign in it moves to your account. Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google: cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro stays until the period ends.
On a new phone, sign in with the same Apple Account or Google account, open the plans sheet and tap Restore purchases. Team seats follow the email that was invited.
Delete your account
On the account screen, Delete account… removes your account and every property synced with it, for everyone it was shared with. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel a subscription; do that with Apple or Google. Export any reports you need and take a backup first.
